The AJA 12GM is a highly versatile, compact transport converter designed for 12G-SDI to/from quad-link 3G-SDI and 6G-SDI to/from quad-link 1.5G-SDI. This powerful Muxer/DeMuxer simplifies 4K and UltraHD workflows by allowing high-resolution, high frame rate, and deep color content to be managed over a single cable or distributed across legacy quad-link equipment.
Advanced Pixel Mapping and Signal Analysis
Equipped with sophisticated mapping capabilities, the 12GM supports both Two Sample Interleave (2SI) and Square Division (Quadrant) pixel mapping. It features an integrated input timing analyzer for quad-link signals and signal diagnostics, ensuring your infrastructure remains stable and synchronized during critical broadcasts or post-production sessions.
Flexible Distribution and Reliability
Beyond simple conversion, the 12GM can be configured as a 1x4 Distribution Amplifier, supporting bit rates from 1.5G to 12G. With automatic equalizing and reclocking, it maintains signal integrity over long cable runs. Its compact, portable design includes a locking power connector and is backed by AJA's industry-leading five-year warranty.
