The Decimator MD-LX is a rugged and incredibly compact bi-directional converter designed for professional video workflows. It allows for simultaneous conversion between HDMI and 3G/HD/SD-SDI, making it an essential tool for broadcast, live events, and studio environments. Unlike basic converters, the MD-LX supports 3G Level A and B on both input and output, enabling seamless conversion between the two standards.

Advanced Routing and Conversion Modes

This versatile unit features four user-selectable modes to suit any production requirement:

• Auto Select: Automatically routes the active input to all outputs.
• Bi-Directional: Converts HDMI IN to SDI OUT and SDI IN to HDMI OUT simultaneously.
• SDI Distribution: Routes SDI IN to both HDMI and SDI OUT.
• HDMI Distribution: Routes HDMI IN to both HDMI and SDI OUT.

Ultra-Portable and USB Powered

Designed for the field, the MD-LX features a low-power design (under 2.5W) and is powered via Micro USB. This allows for operation using a laptop, monitor, or portable power bank. The USB port also facilitates easy control and firmware upgrades via the Decimator Design software. The unit comes complete with a power supply and USB cable for immediate deployment.
