The AJA FiDO-2T-MM provides a high-performance solution for converting two independent 3G-SDI signals to Multi-Mode LC fiber. Designed for reliability and flexibility, this transmitter enables long-distance cable runs while effectively eliminating ground loop interference in demanding broadcast and pro-AV environments.
Supporting distances up to 700 meters (2296 ft) for OM4 and 300 meters (984 ft) for OM3 fiber optic cables, the FiDO-2T-MM ensures signal integrity over significant spans. Its dual-channel design allows for two completely independent SDI-to-Fiber paths, making it a versatile tool for complex workflows.
Compact Design and Versatile Power
With its low-profile enclosure, the FiDO-2T-MM is built to fit into tight spaces, including equipment racks, mobile trucks, or directly onto camera rigs. The locking power connector prevents accidental disconnection, while the included DWP-U-R1 universal power supply ensures compatibility with international plug standards.
For remote field use, the unit can also be powered via an optional P-TAP cable, providing the portability required for on-location shoots. Like all AJA Mini-Converters, it is backed by a comprehensive five-year warranty.
