The AJA FiDO-T-MM provides a high-performance solution for converting 3G-SDI signals to Multi-Mode LC fiber. Designed for reliability and cost efficiency, this 1-channel transmitter enables significantly longer cable runs than traditional coax. Achieve distances up to 700 meters (2296 ft) using OM4 fiber or 300 meters (984 ft) with OM3 fiber optic cables.

Built to withstand the rigors of field and studio use, FiDO converters feature a compact, low-profile enclosure. This small footprint makes them ideal for installation in cramped environments, such as behind equipment racks, inside mobile trucks, or mounted directly onto camera rigs. The inclusion of a looping SDI output ensures you can maintain a local signal feed while transmitting over fiber.

Reliable Power and Global Readiness

Every AJA Mini-Converter includes a universal power supply with international plug adapters, ensuring compatibility for global productions. To prevent accidental downtime, the unit features a locking power connector. For remote locations where mains power is unavailable, an optional P-TAP cable allows the device to run off battery power.
