The AJA FS2 delivers exceptional flexibility in a compact 1RU chassis. By providing two independent channels of 10-bit broadcast-quality video and multi-channel audio processing, the FS2 functions as two separate devices or a unified processor for complex workflows.

Versatile Video Conversion and Scaling

Equipped with AJA hardware conversion technology, the FS2 supports up, down, and cross-conversion between SD and HD formats. Each channel features independent cropping and resizing via high-quality image scaling. Supported I/O includes 3G-SDI, HDMI, and analog component or composite, ensuring compatibility with virtually any signal source.

Advanced Audio and Signal Routing

The FS2 handles two independent groups of 16-channel AES/EBU digital audio, 16-channel embedded audio, and 8-channel balanced analog audio. With full input and output signal routing, any I/O port can be assigned to either processing channel. The internal keyer allows for advanced applications like HD sidebar keying, combining video and background graphics seamlessly.

Remote Control and Fiber Integration

Network-ready with a built-in 10/100/1000MB Ethernet port, the FS2 supports web-based remote control and SNMP monitoring. For long-distance transmissions, the optional Fiber I/O allows for cable runs up to 10 kilometers without external conversion. The unit also supports GPI commands for automated triggering of presets and functions.
