The AJA HA5-12G-T-ST is a high-performance mini-converter designed to bridge the gap between HDMI 2.0 devices and professional 12G-SDI infrastructure. It converts HDMI 2.0 input to 12G-SDI for 4K/UltraHD single link outputs, making it an essential tool for modern broadcast, cinema, and pro-AV workflows.

Integrated ST Fiber Transmitter

This specific model features an integrated single channel ST Fiber transmitter. It allows for the extension of 12G-SDI signals over massive distances, reaching up to 10km over Single Mode fiber. The unit ships with the FiberST-1T-12G SFP module pre-installed, providing immediate long-range connectivity for remote productions and large-scale venues.

Advanced HDR and 4K Support

The HA5-12G-T-ST supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) workflows by analyzing HDR Infoframe data in accordance with HDMI v2.0b and CTA-861-G. It handles 4K (4096 x 2160p) and UltraHD (3840 x 2160p) signals at frame rates up to 60p. With support for 4:4:4, 4:2:2, and 4:2:0 chroma subsampling, it ensures pristine image quality for color-critical applications.

Flexible Audio and EDID Management

Manage your audio with ease by selecting between 8-channel embedded HDMI audio or 2-channel analog audio via RCA inputs. The HDMI EDID Emulation feature ensures that the connected source consistently provides the preferred video format, preventing signal loss or resolution mismatches during live operations.
