Professional H.264 Streaming and Recording
The AJA HELO Plus is a compact, stand-alone H.264 streaming and recording appliance designed for mission-critical workflows. Featuring both 3G-SDI and HDMI I/O, it enables users to stream high-quality 1080p60 video to Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) while simultaneously recording to local or network storage. Whether for eSports, news, education, or live events, HELO Plus delivers ultra-reliable performance in a silent, fanless form factor.
Advanced Multi-Input Layouts and Graphics
HELO Plus introduces powerful video processing through its Layouts feature. Users can combine SDI and HDMI inputs into a single output stream, incorporating up to three layers including graphic overlays. Each live video source can be downscaled and positioned as a Picture-in-Picture (PiP) element. With 20 presets available, each storing up to 10 layouts, operators can seamlessly switch between complex visual arrangements during a live production.
Dual Streaming and Flexible Recording
Equipped with dual encoders, the HELO Plus offers the flexibility to create two different output settings from a single source. This allows for redundant streaming or targeting different platforms with unique frame sizes. Recording is equally versatile, supporting SD cards, USB 3.2 Gen1 storage, and network-attached storage (NFS, CIFS, or SMB) simultaneously to ensure a high-quality backup is always available for post-production.
Secure Transport and Automation
With integrated SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) support, HELO Plus optimizes streaming performance across unpredictable networks, providing low latency and end-to-end encryption. For automated environments, the system features calendar integration to schedule start and stop times via .ics files or Google Calendar. Full remote control is accessible through a web-based UI or the integrated REST API for custom integrations.
