This compact mini-converter ensures pristine image fidelity and supports high frame rates up to 60p, making it ideal for demanding production environments where color accuracy and signal integrity are paramount.

HDR and High Frame Rate Support

Deliver stunning visuals with full HDR (High Dynamic Range) support. The Hi5-12G generates HDR metadata in accordance with HDMI v2.0b/CTA-861-G and supports both HDR10 and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG). With support for 4K/UltraHD signals at 50 or 60 fps, you can monitor high-motion content with smooth, professional results on affordable HDMI 2.0 displays.

Advanced Audio and Signal Routing

The Hi5-12G handles complex audio requirements with ease. It supports up to 16 channels of embedded SDI audio on input, passing 8 channels to the HDMI output. To ensure perfect lip-sync, users can delay audio from 0 to 7 frames. Additionally, two channels of analog audio output allow for direct external monitoring without extra hardware.

Resolution Management and PsF Conversion

Bridge the gap between different production standards. The Hi5-12G compensates for resolution differences between 4K (4096 x 2160) and UltraHD (3840 x 2160), allowing for flexible monitor usage. It also features PsF to Progressive conversion, transforming 1080PsF signals into 1080p for native compatibility with HDMI monitors.
