Professional 12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0 Conversion
The AJA Hi5-12G-R provides high-fidelity conversion from 12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0, supporting 4K/UltraHD High Frame Rate (HFR) workflows up to 60p. This converter simplifies monitoring by connecting professional 12G-SDI devices to cost-effective HDMI 2.0 displays. The integrated Fiber SFP receiver allows for the reception of 4K signals over long distances via LC optical fiber, making it ideal for large-scale venues and broadcast environments.
Advanced HDR Support
Maintain visual integrity with comprehensive HDR support. The Hi5-12G-R generates HDR metadata in accordance with HDMI v2.0b and CTA-861-G standards. It supports Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) and HDR10, ensuring vibrant colors and deep contrast are accurately represented on compatible HDMI displays.
4K and UltraHD Resolution Management
Bridge the gap between different 4K formats. The Hi5-12G-R compensates for resolution differences between 4K (4096 x 2160) and UltraHD (3840 x 2160), allowing for flexible monitoring across various production standards. It also features Video Source Auto Switch Over, which automatically toggles between SDI and Optical inputs based on user-defined priorities.
Integrated Audio and Synchronization
Manage complex audio requirements with ease. The unit supports up to 16 channels of embedded SDI audio on input and passes 8 channels to the HDMI output. To ensure perfect lip-sync, users can delay audio from 0 to 7 frames. Two channels of analog audio output are also provided for direct external monitoring.
Compact Design and Easy Configuration
Built for the rigors of professional use, the Hi5-12G-R features a compact, portable form factor with a locking power connector and includes a universal power supply. Configuration is handled via AJA Mini-Config software over USB, providing a graphical interface for format details and firmware updates.
