Professional 12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0 Conversion
The AJA Hi5-12G-TR provides a high-performance bridge between professional 12G-SDI devices and HDMI 2.0 displays. Delivering pristine image fidelity and High Frame Rate (HFR) support up to 60p for 4K/UltraHD, this converter simplifies professional monitoring workflows with single-cable efficiency. It is designed to compensate for resolution differences between 4K (4096 x 2160) and UltraHD (3840 x 2160), ensuring compatibility across diverse production environments.
Integrated Fiber Transceiver and Auto Switch Over
This TR model features an integrated Fiber LC single-channel SFP transceiver. It can deliver a 4K/UltraHD SDI or Fiber source signal to an HDMI destination while passing the source through to a secondary destination via SDI or Fiber. The Video Source Auto Switch Over feature provides automatic input changeover between SDI and Optical inputs, with configurable priority settings including Last Valid Input, Priority SDI, or Priority Optical.
Advanced HDR Support
The Hi5-12G-TR generates HDR metadata in accordance with HDMI v2.0b and CTA-861-G. It supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) pipelines, allowing for a wider range of colors, brighter whites, and deeper blacks. Additionally, it provides support for Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) HDR displays over HDMI, ensuring your audience sees natural, true-to-life imagery.
Comprehensive Audio and Control
Manage complex audio requirements with support for up to 16 channels of embedded SDI audio on input, passed to 8 channels of HDMI audio. The device includes an audio delay feature (0 to 7 frames) for perfect synchronization and two channels of analog audio output for direct monitoring. Configuration is made simple via AJA Mini-Config software over USB, offering a graphical interface for format details and firmware updates.
