The AJA Hi5-Plus is a next-generation SDI-to-HDMI Mini-Converter designed to seamlessly integrate professional HDMI monitors into SDI-based broadcast and post-production workflows. By supporting 3G-SDI inputs, it ensures the highest quality signal representation for critical monitoring tasks.

Pristine Image Quality and Deep Color

When paired with compatible HDMI displays, the Hi5-Plus delivers a 30-bit Deep Color RGB signal. This allows for incredible color depth and accuracy, making it an essential tool for RGB workflows where image fidelity is paramount.

Advanced Audio Handling and Synchronization

The Hi5-Plus supports up to 16 channels of embedded SDI audio on input, passing 8 channels to the HDMI output. To ensure perfect lip-sync, the device features a selectable audio delay from 0 to 7 frames. Additionally, two channels of analog audio output allow for direct external monitoring without needing separate disembedders.

PsF to Progressive Conversion

Many professional productions utilize PsF (Progressive Segmented Frame) formats, which are often not natively supported by standard HDMI monitors. The Hi5-Plus solves this by converting 1080PsF signals to 1080p, ensuring compatibility with modern display hardware.

Compact Design and Easy Configuration

Small enough to fit behind a monitor or on a camera rig, the Hi5-Plus is built for reliability. It features a locking power connector to prevent accidental disconnection and includes a universal power supply.
