The AJA Corvid 88 S is a low-profile PCIe 2.0 card designed for high-density video and audio I/O. It allows for the configuration of each SDI connection individually as either input or output, supporting up to eight independent channels of HD or SD on a single card. This flexibility makes it an essential component for ingest and playout servers, as well as sophisticated channel-in-a-box systems.

4K and UltraHD High Frame Rate Support

As production demands shift toward higher resolutions, the Corvid 88 S provides the futureproofing required for modern workflows. By combining SDI connections, the card supports 4K (4096 x 2160) and UltraHD (3840 x 2160) at high frame rates including 48p, 50p, and 60p. This ensures smooth motion and high-fidelity capture for the most demanding broadcast and cinematic applications.

Advanced Processing and Connectivity

Equipped with eight frame stores, eight color space converters, and four mixer/keyer widgets, the Corvid 88 S offers robust internal processing. It features a switchable LTC/Reference input on the back of the card and an internal RS-422 connection for frame-accurate control of external devices. The low-profile design ensures compatibility with compact server chassis without sacrificing performance.
