The AJA Corvid 88 is a high-performance PCIe 2.0 card designed to maximize video and audio I/O capacity. Featuring eight independent 3G-SDI connections, this card allows AJA Developer Partners to configure each port individually as either input or output. This versatility makes it the ideal solution for high-density ingest and playout servers or sophisticated channel-in-a-box systems.

Future-Proof 4K and HFR Workflows

As the industry moves toward higher resolutions, the Corvid 88 provides the flexibility needed for 4K (4096 x 2160) and UltraHD (3840 x 2160) workflows. By linking SDI connections, users can support multiple 4K channels at High Frame Rates (HFR) up to 60p. This ensures smooth motion and high fidelity for the most demanding broadcast and post-production applications.

Comprehensive Connectivity and Control

Beyond video, the Corvid 88 offers robust synchronization and control options. It includes a switchable LTC/Reference input on the back and an internal LTC header. The built-in RS-422 connection allows for frame-accurate control of external devices, while eight independent 16-channel embedded audio engines handle complex multi-channel audio requirements with ease.
