High-Performance Fiber to 3G-SDI Conversion
The AJA OG-FiDO-R is a professional-grade, openGear compatible fiber to 3G-SDI receiver designed for demanding broadcast and pro-AV environments. This state-of-the-art converter allows for the extension of 3G-SDI signals over distances up to 10 km (32,808 ft) using standard single mode fiber optic cable. By utilizing the openGear architecture, it provides a high-density solution that integrates seamlessly into existing rackframe workflows.
Advanced Signal Integrity and Connectivity
Equipped with best-in-class input jitter tolerance, the fiber input is automatically reclocked to ensure maximum signal stability. The OG-FiDO-R supports a wide range of SDI rates, including 270Mb, 1.5Gb, and 3Gb, making it format agnostic and highly versatile. The unit features two mirrored 3G-SDI BNC outputs, providing redundant signal paths or local monitoring options directly from the card.
Remote Monitoring and DashBoard Support
Full compatibility with DashBoard software on Windows, macOS, and Linux enables comprehensive remote control and monitoring. Users can configure settings and check signal status over a PC or local network, streamlining the management of complex openGear installations. The modular rear panel ensures flexible I/O configurations, while the hot-swappable design allows for maintenance without interrupting frame power.
