Professional 12G-SDI to Fiber Conversion
The AJA OG-FiDO-2T-12G is a high-performance, openGear compatible 2-channel 12G-SDI to Fiber transmitter. It is engineered to extend 12G-SDI signals up to 10 km (32,808 ft) using standard single mode fiber optic cabling. With two completely independent 12G-SDI inputs, this card allows for different rates to be processed on each channel simultaneously, providing maximum flexibility in demanding broadcast environments.
Advanced Monitoring and Control
Designed for high-density integration within 2RU openGear frames like the AJA OG-X-FR, this transmitter features full DashBoard Software support. Users can remotely monitor and configure the openGear architecture across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms. This ensures industry-standard control over a local network, streamlining workflow management.
Reliability and Signal Integrity
The OG-FiDO-2T-12G includes automatic detection and reclocking for a wide range of SDI rates, from 270 Mbps up to 11.880 Gbps. It supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) video and features Input Present and Input SMPTE Lock LEDs for immediate status verification. The hot-swappable design and included SFP and rear I/O card make it a robust solution for critical infrastructure.
