High-Performance 2-Channel Fiber to 3G-SDI Conversion
The AJA OG-FiDO-2R is a professional, openGear compatible 2-channel Fiber to 3G-SDI receiver. It allows 3G-SDI signals to be extended up to 10 km (32,808 ft) over standard single mode fiber optic cable. The two fiber inputs are completely independent, allowing different 3G-SDI rates to be carried on each channel simultaneously.
Seamless openGear Integration
Designed for high-density environments, the OG-FiDO-2R fits into 2RU openGear frames, including the AJA OG-X-FR. The openGear standard ensures compatibility with products from certified partners, providing a flexible and scalable rackframe solution for modern broadcast workflows.
Remote Monitoring via DashBoard
Full support for DashBoard software on Windows, macOS, and Linux offers remote control and monitoring. This provides industry-standard configuration and status oversight over a PC or local network, ensuring critical signal information is always accessible.
Technical Reliability and Signal Integrity
The fiber inputs feature automatic reclocking with best-in-class input jitter tolerance. The OG-FiDO-2R supports 3G-SDI rates of 270Mb, 1.5Gb, and 3Gb. For added reliability, the fiber connector is attached directly to the main card, and the unit supports hot-swapping for uninterrupted operation in mission-critical environments.
