The AJA OG-X-FR is a sophisticated 2RU open-architecture rackframe designed to house up to 20 openGear cards. Advanced Power and Cooling
To meet the demands of modern broadcast environments, the OG-X-FR features a 600W power supply with a high-power mode that delivers 23W per slot. The frame is designed for maximum reliability, featuring integrated cooling fans that maintain optimal internal temperatures. For mission-critical operations, the frame accommodates two front-loaded, hot-swappable power supplies, allowing for optional redundancy to prevent downtime.
Unified DashBoard Control
Management is simplified through the DashBoard Control System. This unified software provides a single interface for setup, real-time monitoring, and control of all supported openGear cards. DashBoard is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux, offering tools like CustomPanels for tailored workflows. The standard MFC-8322-S network card is preinstalled, enabling immediate Ethernet access for frame communication.
Serviceability and Design
The OG-X-FR is engineered for ease of use in fast-paced environments. A fold-down front panel grants immediate access to installed cards for maintenance or replacement without unmounting the frame. The modular rear panel allows for custom I/O configurations specific to each card, while the front LCD display provides instant feedback on frame name, IP address, and fault status.
