Professional SMPTE ST 2110 to HDMI Conversion

The AJA IPR-10G2-HDMI is a rugged Mini-Converter designed to bridge SMPTE ST 2110 IP networks to HDMI. It supports resolutions up to UltraHD 50p or HD 60p, making it an essential tool for point-of-use applications such as source monitoring, multi-viewer setups, or feeding IP signals to compatible HDMI displays.

This converter receives SMPTE ST 2110 audio and video over 10 GigE, de-encapsulating the data to output baseband HDMI. Associated audio is extracted, synchronized, and embedded into the HDMI output, while simultaneous analog stereo audio is available via dual RCA outputs.

Redundancy and Reliability

Equipped with two 10 GigE SFP+ cages, the IPR-10G2-HDMI supports ST 2022-7 hitless switching. This provides critical redundancy protection for broadcast and monitoring applications. Note: Hitless switching via ST 2022-7 is supported up to 1080p 60; UltraHD is not supported for this feature.

Advanced Control and Integration

The IPR-10G2-HDMI offers flexible management options to fit any workflow. The dedicated Control LAN Ethernet port allows for full setup via web browsers or REST clients. For initial configuration, a mini-USB port is available for use with AJA eMini-Setup software. It also features support for NMOS and Ember+ for seamless integration into modern IP infrastructures.
