Seamless IP to SDI Bridging

The AJA IPR-10G2-SDI is a professional-grade Mini-Converter designed to bridge SMPTE ST 2110 IP networks to SDI. It receives SMPTE ST 2110 audio and video over 10 GigE, de-encapsulating the data to output baseband SDI video. This converter is an essential tool for integrating IP streams into existing baseband environments such as master control rooms, OB trucks, or edit suites, supporting video formats up to HD 60p.

Redundancy and Hitless Switching

Equipped with two 10 GigE SFP+ cages, the IPR-10G2-SDI supports ST 2022-7 hitless switching. This provides critical redundancy protection by utilizing dual paths for media transport, ensuring uninterrupted signal delivery even if one network link fails. The rugged, fanless design ensures silent operation, making it suitable for quiet studio environments and field use.

Advanced Control and Integration

Managing the IPR-10G2-SDI is straightforward via a built-in web server accessible through the dedicated 1 GigE RJ-45 control port. It supports NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 for discovery and registration, as well as Ember+ and the AJA REST API for comprehensive remote control. For initial setup, a mini-USB port allows for quick network configuration using AJA eMini-Setup software.
