By utilizing a full 10-bit data path and 2x oversampling, the V2Digital ensures every conversion maintains the integrity of the original signal.
Extensive Format and Input Support
The V2Digital is designed for versatility, accepting a wide range of input types to ensure compatibility with legacy and modern equipment:
- Component: YPbPr (SMPTE, EBU-N10), Betacam, or RGB
- Composite: NTSC/PAL or Y/C (S-Video)
A 4-line Adaptive Comb Filter provides high-quality decoding of composite sources, making it ready for any signal that comes your way.
Precision Image Processing
To provide the highest quality analog to digital conversion possible, the V2Digital employs advanced processing technologies. The combination of the 10-bit data path and 2x oversampling delivers pristine image quality suitable for broadcast and professional production environments.
USB and Mini-Config Control
Configuration is simple and flexible. Users can set parameters using the physical DIP switches on the unit or via the AJA Mini-Config software. This free utility provides a graphical interface with detailed information about input and output formats, while also allowing for easy firmware updates via USB.

AJA Mini-Converters are built for reliability in the field or the studio. The compact housing fits behind monitors or directly on camera rigs. A locking power connector ensures the universal power supply stays connected, while an optional P-TAP cable allows for battery-powered operation in remote locations.
Note: V2Digital does NOT up-convert or down-convert between SD and HD resolutions. Only analog to digital signal conversion is supported.
