The Angénieux 1.4x Extender is a dedicated optical solution designed to increase the focal range of Optimo and Optimo Style zoom lenses. It provides a cost-effective way to achieve greater reach while maintaining the high-end image rendition and contrast characteristics of the primary lens.

This extender is engineered to deliver consistent performance throughout the entire zoom range. While it results in a light loss of approximately one to two T-stops at full aperture, the optical integrity remains uncompromised, making it an essential tool for versatile production environments.

Format Adaptation and Compatibility

In addition to magnification, this unit acts as a format adapter, allowing standard lenses to cover larger sensor areas. Please note that while compatible with most Optimo series, it is not for use with Optimo DP lenses.
