High-Performance 24V Power Solution
The Anton Bauer Arri Alexa LF 24V Sharkfin Battery Bracket (V-Mount) is engineered to bridge the gap between standard voltage batteries and the high-power requirements of the Alexa LF. By utilizing two V-Mount batteries, this bracket provides the necessary 24V output to keep your production running smoothly.
Hot Swapping and Continuous Operation
To meet the high current demands of the Alexa LF, it is recommended to use two batteries capable of a 10A sustained draw at all times. The Sharkfin design allows for hot-swapping batteries one at a time while the camera is idle, ensuring zero downtime. It also supports seamless transitions between block batteries and onboard power sources.
Integrated Accessory Power
Equipped with 4x P-Tap connectors, this bracket serves as a central hub for your camera rig. Two P-Taps are positioned on each plate for flexible cable management. These ports remain active as long as at least one battery is installed. Note: P-Taps will not function when the camera is powered solely by a block battery without onboard batteries present.
Advanced Data Communication
The Sharkfin module features intelligent circuitry that reads both SMBUS and reverse SMBUS battery data. It aggregates this information into a single stream, providing accurate percentage displays on the camera body UI, LCD, and EVF for precise power management.
Rugged Installation and Safety
Installation is streamlined via four M3 thumbscrews and two locating points for a direct fit to the camera back. A hidden Allen wrench is included for extra tightening. The package includes a protective cover plate to safeguard pogo pins during transit. Safety Note: Voltage is present on the pogo pins when a battery is attached; do not mount batteries unless the bracket is secured to the camera.
