Advanced Power Distribution for Sony Venice

The Anton Bauer D-Box is a comprehensive power solution designed specifically for the Sony Venice camera system. It integrates power distribution, standardized remote start/stop functionality, and hot swap capabilities into a single, rugged unit. The main D-Box module attaches directly to the back of the AXS-R7 or the camera's rear V-Mount plate, while the Power Strip portion mounts to the top right side via a 3pin Fischer and the tape hook threaded hole.

Seamless Integration and Control

The D-Box Power Strip is contoured to match the Sony Venice profile, ensuring all cables are installed without obstruction. It enables any ARRI standard start/stop trigger, such as the ARRI UMC-4 or WCU-4, through the 3pin Fischer port. For uninterrupted filming, the 4pin XLR DC input allows for AC power supplies or block batteries like the VCLX to be connected. When both a battery and DC input are used, the system defaults to the DC input to keep the onboard battery fully charged.

Intelligent Circuit Protection

Physical fuses are replaced by a processor-controlled amp limit, adjustable to 3.8, 5.8, or 9 amps via a slide switch. If the current limit is exceeded, only the accessory outputs are disabled, keeping the camera running safely. A simple reset button restores accessory power once the load is reduced. Dual LEDs provide instant visual feedback on battery voltage: Green (>12.5V), Red (<12V), or Orange (12V to 12.5V).
