The Anton Bauer Low Mode Gold Mount Battery Bracket Adapter is a precision-engineered solution for cinematographers looking to transition from V-Mount to Gold Mount power systems. This adapter specifically converts the RED DSMC2 V-Lock Expander Module or the Element Technica V-Mount Module into a standard Anton Bauer Gold Mount interface.
Optimized Low-Profile Configuration
Designed for streamlined camera builds, the plate position is calibrated to sit flush with the top of the camera body. This low-mode orientation is ideal for gimbal work or tight handheld setups where vertical clearance is a priority. The assembly attaches directly to the rear of the module without requiring tools, ensuring a secure and fast setup on set.
Integrated Accessory Power
To support a full production rig, the adapter includes two P-Tap ports. These allow for the simultaneous powering of wireless transmitters, monitors, or follow-focus systems directly from the main battery source. Please note that while the adapter provides reliable power, it does not convert Anton Bauer communication to the V-Mount format; consequently, only voltage information will be displayed on the camera's LCD.
