The Aputure Storm 1200x is a 1,200W dual-color point-source fixture designed for high-end film productions and professional sets. As the flagship of the STORM series, it introduces the revolutionary BLAIR LED chipset, delivering exceptional brightness and color accuracy across a wide 2,500K to 10,000K CCT range.
Revolutionary BLAIR Chipset Technology
Utilizing a unique blend of Blue, Lime, Amber, Indigo, and Red diodes, the STORM 1200x achieves a daylight output comparable to an 1,800W HMI. The inclusion of an indigo diode enhances the fluorescence of materials, resulting in light that more accurately mimics natural tungsten and daylight sources. With an SSI of 87 at both 3,200K and 5,600K, this fixture ensures industry-leading color reproduction.
Advanced ProLock Locking Bowens Mount
The STORM 1200x features the ProLock locking Bowens mount. This redesigned interface provides a more secure and optically aligned connection for heavy modifiers. It eliminates the need for rotational adjustments, allowing cinematographers to swap accessories quickly and confidently on busy sets.
Precision Dimming and Professional Control
Equipped with advanced dimming technology, the fixture offers 0.1-100% stepless brightness control. It remains flicker-free and color-accurate even at its lowest output levels. For seamless workflow integration, the STORM 1200x supports 16-bit DMX512, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-net, sACN, and Sidus Link app control.
