ARRI ALEXA 35 Live Xtreme - Standard System

The ARRI ALEXA 35 Live brings ARRI’s cinematic image quality into live, multicamera production environments. It is designed for sports, concerts, talk shows, premium corporate events, streaming productions and other live entertainment workflows.

The camera uses a Super 35 format ARRI ALEV 4 CMOS sensor and delivers 4K image quality with accurate colour reproduction, natural skin tones and cinematic shallow focus. With 17 stops of dynamic range, ALEXA 35 Live is built for demanding SDR and HDR productions where highlights, shadows and colour need to stay controlled under fast-changing lighting conditions.

For creative control, ALEXA 35 Live supports the ARRI Look Library with 87 cinematic looks, plus dedicated Multicam looks for typical live scenarios such as studios, concerts and ski racing. Looks can be activated quickly, allowing productions to move beyond a standard broadcast image without rebuilding the whole workflow.

The system provides live production shading controls through the RCP, including knee point, knee slope and continuous EI/gain adjustment. These controls help engineers match multiple camera channels in real time, which is useful when every camera must look like it belongs to the same universe instead of wandering off into its own colour philosophy.

ALEXA 35 Live is part of a complete multicam system that includes the Live Production System LPS-1, fiber camera adapter, fiber base station, remote control panel and ARRI Multicam accessories. The LPS-1 can use hybrid fiber for power and uncompressed 4K video up to 2km, or tactical fiber up to 10km.

For monitoring, the optional Live Production Monitor LPM-1 offers a 10-inch daylight-viewable display with up to 1500 nits brightness, wide viewing angles and accurate colour rendition. The system also supports remote control, setup, signal routing, diagnostics and software updates through dedicated web interfaces.

ARRI has built dedicated accessories around the live workflow, including the Touchdown System for fast tripod-to-handheld transitions, the Live Production Handle LPH-2, the Large Lens Adapter LLA-1 for box lenses, tally modules and stabilizer adapter mounts.

From 2026 onwards, ALEXA 35 Live adds features such as picture-in-picture tracking zoom and ARRICORE in-camera recording. Picture-in-picture tracking zoom helps operators maintain critical focus on a selected face while still seeing the full frame, while ARRICORE provides high-quality RGB recording at reduced data rates.

The ALEXA 35 Live camera body with PL Mount and Fiber Camera Adapter weighs approximately 6.3kg and measures 147 x 179 x 365mm. It is designed for professional live production environments, with sealed electronics providing IP51 splash and dust protection.
