The ARRI ALEXA LF FSND 0.6 is a high-performance internal filter designed for the ALEXA Internal Filter Module. By positioning the filter behind the lens rather than in front, cinematographers can significantly reduce setup complexity and overall rig weight.
These Full Spectrum Neutral Density (FSND) filters are engineered to maintain a perfectly neutral color balance across all densities, ensuring consistent image quality without color shifts. Filtering behind the lens also minimizes unwanted reflections and internal narcissism artifacts.
- Compatibility: Specifically designed for the internal Filter Module of ALEXA LF cameras.
- Incompatible: Not compatible with any generation of ALEXA Studio.
- Technical Note: When using FSND filters, the supplied shim must be installed to adjust the camera's flange focal depth correctly.
