Professional Audio Integration for ALEXA 35
The ARRI Audio Extension Module AEM-1 is a purpose-built electronic module designed to expand the audio capabilities of the ALEXA 35. By mounting directly to the rear of the camera, it provides a seamless, integrated solution for high-end production sound without the need for external recorders.
Equipped with two ultra-low noise microphone preamplifiers, the AEM-1 ensures studio-grade signal quality. Users can toggle between MIC and LINE levels, engage 48V Phantom power, and utilize phase reversal or adjustable low-cut filters to tailor the audio to the environment. The inclusion of a hardware limiter prevents clipping during unexpected peaks.
Comprehensive Connectivity and Power
Beyond analog inputs, the AEM-1 features an AES3/AES42 digital input, allowing for a completely digital signal path from compatible microphones. It also serves as a power hub, offering additional outputs to drive essential camera accessories.
