With a write speed of up to 8 Gbps (~950 MB/s), the Codex Compact Drive handles demanding recording formats with ease. While it supports all recording modes on the ALEXA Mini LF, it allows for ARRIRAW recording on the ALEXA 35 at speeds up to 60 fps, making it a versatile choice for various production requirements.

Recording Capacity Overview

At a standard 24 fps, the 960 GB usable capacity offers the following recording times:

• ALEXA 35: 28 minutes of ARRIRAW 4.6K OG or 1 hour 45 minutes of Apple ProRes 4444 16:9 UHD.
• ALEXA Mini LF: 32 minutes of ARRIRAW 4.5K OG or 2 hours of Apple ProRes 4444 16:9 UHD.
