The ARRI UAP-1 is a versatile mounting solution designed for professional cinematographers who need to transition rapidly between different shooting configurations. This adapter allows for a seamless switch from traditional ARRI cine-style bridge plates to a Steadicam dovetail plate, ensuring maximum efficiency on set.
Broad Compatibility and Secure Fit
The UAP-1 attaches to the front and back foot of a wide range of ALEXA bodies with a tight and secure fit. It is compatible with the following models:
- ALEXA, ALEXA Plus, and ALEXA Plus 4:3
- ALEXA M and ALEXA XT M bodies
- ALEXA XT and ALEXA XT Plus
- ALEXA SXT EV, SXT Plus, and SXT W
- ALEXA LF
Advanced Rigging Options
Beyond bridge plate transitions, the UAP-1 is used to attach the ALEXA M or ALEXA XT M body to the ALEXA M D-Bracket. While it fulfills all the tasks of the BPA-2, please note that it obscures the shoulder cutout of the camera. This plate is compatible with ARRI bridge plates including the BP-3, 5, 8, and 9.
Note: The UAP-1 is not compatible with ALEXA Studio, ALEXA XT Studio, or ALEXA SXT Studio models.
