When used with 35mm formats, this extender increases your focal length by 1.6x. This means a 100mm lens effectively becomes a 160mm, and an 80mm becomes a 127mm. With only 1.3 stop light loss, you maintain excellent exposure capabilities while gaining significant reach.

Compatibility and Protection

Designed for PL to LPL mount configurations, this extender includes a handy check gauge. This tool helps you ensure the rear element or cone of the lens will not interfere with the extender optics. Please note that this unit is not compatible with EF mounts.
