The Atomos Ninja TX GO is a 5-inch HDMI and Wi-Fi monitor-recorder designed for compact camera setups, creator workflows and professional HDMI-based production.
Its super-bright 1500nit touchscreen display makes it easier to monitor images in bright environments, while HDMI 2.0 input and output support signals up to 6Kp30. The unit is built for users who need high-quality recording, monitoring and connected workflows in one compact device.
Ninja TX GO records up to 6Kp30 RAW and supports Apple ProRes RAW, Apple ProRes, Avid DNx and H.265 recording formats. It can capture media to CFexpress Type B cards or certified USB-C storage, giving users flexible options for high-speed production recording.
Built-in Wi-Fi 6E enables connected workflows including direct Camera to Cloud upload to ATOMOSphere, Frame.io and Dropbox. The unit also supports NDI 6 streaming, because apparently even monitor-recorders now want to join the network and start uploading things before anyone has labelled the footage.
For supported cameras, Ninja TX GO offers camera control and touch-to-focus functionality, including access to settings such as start/stop recording, ISO, shutter, aperture and white balance.
Professional monitoring tools include waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope, focus peaking, zebras, Atomos False Color, ARRI False Color, EL Zone, zoom, frame guides, safe areas, grid markers and anamorphic de-squeeze from 1.25x to 2x. Cine and social media frame guide presets help operators compose for both traditional and online delivery formats.
The monitor-recorder supports HDMI embedded audio up to 8-channel 24-bit, plus a 3.5mm headphone jack with 2-channel input and output support. Power options include USB-C, NP-F battery or AC adapter, while over-the-air firmware updates help keep the system current without the usual cable-and-laptop ceremony.
The box includes the Ninja TX GO monitor-recorder, USB-C locking cable adaptor, HDMI locking cable adaptor, two Wi-Fi antennas, five coloured antenna tips, two antenna caps, a 45cm USB-C locking cable and a Quick Start Guide.
