Atomos Shinobi 7 4K HDMI/SDI HDR Photo & Video Monitor product description
Professional 7-Inch HDR Monitoring
The Atomos Shinobi 7 combines a massive 7-inch HDR screen with a calibrated peak brightness of 2200 nits. This high-brightness display ensures your image remains visible even in the most challenging outdoor environments. Designed for directors, focus pullers, and vloggers, it provides a stunning 10+ stops of dynamic range in real time from Log, PQ, or HLG signals, simplifying the complexities of shooting HDR.
Integrated Camera Control
Take command of your setup using the intuitive touchscreen interface. When paired with optional Atomos cables, the Shinobi 7 provides direct access to crucial camera features such as iris, white balance, shutter angle, and ND filters. Out of the box, it supports the Z Cam E2 series, while additional USB and RJ45 ports ensure compatibility with future camera developments.
Pro I/O and Signal Cross-Conversion
The Shinobi 7 is a versatile powerhouse in any video workflow. It supports up to 4Kp60 via HDMI and features 3G-SDI inputs and outputs. A standout feature is the bi-directional cross-conversion, allowing you to bring HDMI cameras into SDI workflows or vice versa without needing external converters. This low-latency signal processing makes it an essential tool for multi-camera productions.
Advanced AtomOS 10 Toolset
Utilizing the proven AtomOS 10 platform, the monitor is packed with professional monitoring tools. The Analysis Mode allows you to simultaneously view your image alongside a waveform, histogram, and vectorscope. Other essential features include focus peaking, 4:1/2:1/1:1 zoom, zebra, false color, and anamorphic de-squeeze, giving you total control over exposure and framing.
Continuous Power and 3D LUTs
Never lose power on set thanks to the dual NPF battery slots, which support hot-swapping for all-day operation. For creative flexibility, the built-in 3D LUT box allows you to load up to eight custom LUTs via the SD card slot. These can be applied to the screen or fed downstream to other devices, ensuring your creative intent is maintained from capture to post-production.
