The Atomos UltraSync One to BNC timecode and genlock cable is designed for connecting the UltraSync One to devices with BNC timecode or genlock ports.
The cable allows timecode to be fed to or from the DIN port on the UltraSync One and to or from compatible devices with BNC timecode input or output. This makes it useful for multi-camera production, broadcast setups, production sound workflows and synced recording environments.
It can also be used to send genlock from the UltraSync One to a device that accepts genlock input via BNC. Atomos notes that TCS products cannot accept an external genlock input, because even sync gear has boundaries. Stunning, really.
The cable features an in-line DIN 1.0/2.3 connector on the UltraSync One side and a right-angle BNC connector for compatible external devices.
The red colour helps identify the cable quickly in a kit or on set, making it easier to separate from other timecode, genlock or camera cables during production.
