Blackmagic 3-Year Extended Warranty for 2110 IP Converter 8x12G SFP product description
Blackmagic Design Extended Warranty: Long-Term Protection for Your 2110 IP Converter
The Blackmagic Design Extended Warranty offers professional users the opportunity to expand the protection of their 2110 IP Converter 8x12G SFP for three additional years. This service is designed to provide greater long-term assurance, reinforcing the reliability and high-quality performance expected from Blackmagic Design broadcast equipment.
Securing an extended warranty is a strategic choice for professionals. Since repair options outside the standard period can be complex, this extension ensures your investment remains protected and operational over a significantly longer lifecycle.
Flexible Purchase Window and Activation
To qualify for this coverage, the Extended Warranty must be purchased either simultaneously with the hardware or within two months of the original purchase date. This window allows users to evaluate their workflow needs before committing to additional protection. Please note that the coverage period always begins from the original product purchase date. Proof of purchase is required when buying the warranty separately.
Comprehensive Warranty Terms
This extension operates under the same terms and conditions as the standard Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty. The primary advantage is the increased duration, ensuring your equipment receives the same level of care and support for several years beyond the initial period.
Warranty Duration Summary
Total coverage is determined by the product's original warranty status:
- Products with a standard 12-month warranty (extended to 24 months via authorized resellers) reach a total of 5 years of coverage.
- Products with a standard 3-year warranty are extended to a total of 6 years.
- Components with shorter specific coverage receive a proportional extension.
Important Coverage Information
Warranty terms are exclusive of shipping costs, except in cases where the product is confirmed as dead on arrival (DOA). Coverage does not include normal wear and tear or damage resulting from abnormal use, such as operation in hostile environments. The number of replacement units provided is limited; for full details on procedures and exclusions, please refer to the official Blackmagic Design product manual.
