This warranty extension builds upon the existing manufacturer protection. For products with a standard 12-month warranty (often 24 months via authorized resellers), the total coverage increases to 5 years. For products featuring a standard 3-year warranty, the total protection period reaches 6 years. Any components with shorter specific coverage periods receive a proportional extension.
Critical Purchase Window
To qualify for this protection, the Extended Warranty must be purchased alongside the hardware or within two months of the original purchase date. Proof of purchase is required if bought separately. Note that the coverage period is calculated from the original equipment purchase date, not the warranty purchase date.
Comprehensive Support Terms
The extended plan mirrors the Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty terms. It covers manufacturing defects but excludes normal wear and tear, damage from abnormal use, or operation in hostile environments.
