Strict Purchase Requirements

To qualify for this coverage, the Extended Warranty must be purchased alongside the product or within two months of the original purchase date. The coverage period is calculated from the original hardware purchase date. If purchasing this warranty separately from the hardware, a valid proof of purchase is required to activate the extension.

Comprehensive Coverage Terms

This extended plan maintains the same terms and conditions as the standard Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty. It provides a seamless transition from the initial warranty period to the extended phase, offering the same high level of service and reliability expected from Blackmagic Design.

Warranty Duration and Extensions

• Products with a standard 12-month warranty (extended to 24 months via authorized resellers) reach a total of 5 years of coverage.
• Products with a standard 3-year warranty are extended to a total of 6 years.
• Components with shorter specific coverage periods receive a proportional extension based on the original terms.

Important Limitations

Please note that warranty terms exclude shipping costs, except in cases where the unit is Dead on Arrival (DOA). Coverage does not apply to normal wear and tear or damage resulting from abnormal use or hostile operating environments.
