This extension is designed to provide long-term peace of mind, ensuring your broadcast workflow remains uninterrupted by unexpected hardware issues and reinforcing the reliability expected from Blackmagic Design equipment.

Flexible Purchase and Coverage Terms

To qualify for this coverage, the Extended Warranty must be purchased alongside your equipment or within two months of the original purchase date. Please note that the coverage period is calculated from the original date of purchase. If purchasing separately, a valid proof of purchase is required to activate the plan.

Comprehensive Warranty Duration

This plan significantly increases the standard protection period based on your product's initial terms:

• Standard 12-month products: Coverage increases to a total of 5 years (including the reseller extension).
• Standard 3-year products: Coverage increases to a total of 6 years.
• Proportional extensions: Components with shorter standard coverage receive a matching proportional increase.

Important Coverage Details

The extended plan maintains the same terms and conditions as the standard Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty. It does not cover shipping costs (except for DOA units), normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from abnormal use or hostile environments.
