This extension is designed to provide long-term assurance, ensuring your high-performance storage hardware remains covered by the same quality support you expect from Blackmagic Design.

Eligibility and Purchase Window

To qualify for this coverage, the Extended Warranty must be purchased simultaneously with the Cloud Dock 2 or within two months of the original purchase date. Please note that the coverage period is retroactive, beginning from the original date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required when adding the warranty separately.

Comprehensive Coverage Duration

This extension significantly increases the lifespan of your manufacturer support. The total duration is determined by the standard warranty of your specific unit:

• Standard 12-month products: Receive 24 months via authorized resellers, totaling 5 years with this extension.
• Standard 3-year products: Total coverage increases to 6 years.
• Proportional Extensions: Components with shorter standard coverage receive a proportional increase.

Terms and Conditions

The extended plan mirrors the standard Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty. It does not cover shipping costs (unless the unit is Dead on Arrival), normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from abnormal use or hostile environments.
