The Blackmagic Design Extended Warranty offers professional users a reliable way to safeguard their Cloud Pod for an additional three years. This extension is designed to provide long-term peace of mind, ensuring your network storage solution remains protected against unforeseen hardware issues well beyond the standard coverage period.

Eligibility and Purchase Window

To qualify for this coverage, the Extended Warranty must be purchased alongside your Cloud Pod or within two months of the original purchase date. Please note that the coverage period is retroactive, beginning from the original date of equipment purchase. If purchasing separately from the hardware, a valid proof of purchase is required.

Extended Protection Duration

This plan significantly increases the lifespan of your manufacturer support:

• Standard 12-month products: Coverage increases to a total of 5 years (including the 24-month authorized reseller period).
• Standard 3-year products: Coverage extends to a total of 6 years.
• Proportional Extensions: Components with shorter standard coverage receive a proportional increase in protection.

Comprehensive Support Terms

The Extended Warranty maintains the same terms and conditions as the standard Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty. It covers hardware defects but excludes shipping costs (unless the unit is Dead on Arrival), normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from abnormal use or hostile environments.
