Extended Coverage Duration

This warranty adds three additional years to your existing protection. The total duration depends on the standard warranty period of your specific device:

• 5 Years Total Coverage: For products with a standard 12-month warranty (which includes the 24-month reseller extension).
• 6 Years Total Coverage: For products originally featuring a standard 3-year warranty.

Coverage begins from the original purchase date of the hardware. Any components with shorter coverage under the standard terms will receive a proportional extension.

Eligibility and Purchase Window

To qualify for this protection, the Extended Warranty must be purchased either simultaneously with the hardware or within two months of the original purchase date. Proof of purchase is required if the warranty is bought separately from the main unit.

Professional Support Terms

The extended plan operates under the same terms and conditions as the Blackmagic Design Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty. It covers manufacturing defects but excludes normal wear and tear, damage from abnormal use, or operation in hostile environments. Please note that shipping costs are not included unless the unit is confirmed as Dead on Arrival (DOA).
