To qualify for this protection, the Extended Warranty must be purchased alongside your equipment or within two months of the original purchase date. Coverage begins retroactively from the initial date of purchase. Please ensure you have your proof of purchase ready if adding this warranty after your initial hardware order.

Extended Warranty Duration

This plan adds three additional years to your existing coverage, significantly increasing the lifespan of your manufacturer support:

• Standard 12-month products: Total coverage increases to 5 years (including the 24-month reseller period).
• Standard 3-year products: Total coverage increases to a total of 6 years.
• Proportional extensions: Components with shorter standard coverage receive a matching proportional extension.

Terms and Conditions

The Blackmagic Design Extended Warranty operates under the same trusted terms as the standard Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty. It covers defects in materials and workmanship but excludes normal wear and tear or damage resulting from abnormal use or hostile environments. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the user, except in cases where the unit is confirmed as dead on arrival (DOA).
