Extended Coverage Duration

This warranty extension builds upon the existing manufacturer's protection. The total duration of your coverage is determined by the standard warranty period of your specific device:

• Standard 12-month products: Coverage increases to a total of 5 years (including the 24-month authorized reseller period).
• Standard 3-year products: Coverage extends to a total of 6 years.
• Proportional Extensions: Components with shorter standard coverage receive a proportional increase in protection.

Eligibility and Purchase Window

To ensure your equipment is covered, the Extended Warranty must be purchased either at the time of the hardware sale or within two months of the original purchase date. Please note that the coverage period is calculated from the original date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required when adding this warranty separately from the hardware.

Terms and Conditions

The Extended Warranty maintains the same rigorous standards as the Blackmagic Design Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty. It covers defects in materials and workmanship but excludes shipping costs (except for DOA units), normal wear and tear, and damage resulting from abnormal use or hostile environments.
