The Blackmagic Design UltraStudio Mini Monitor 12G is a compact, high-performance playback solution designed for editors and colorists. It enables high-quality video output from a Thunderbolt computer to broadcast monitors, televisions, and production equipment. With multi-rate 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 outputs, it supports a wide range of video standards up to Ultra HD 2160p60.
Broadcast-Grade 10-Bit Quality
Designed for professional post-production, the UltraStudio Mini Monitor 12G provides 10-bit video output. This ensures accurate image representation, making it an essential tool for color correction and broadcast workflows where visual fidelity is critical.
Advanced Fill and Key Functionality
The dual 12G-SDI outputs can function as separate fill and key outputs. This allows graphics with alpha channels to be converted into 10-bit SDI signals, enabling transparent titles and stingers to be keyed over live video using compatible switchers.
Universal Format Support
The multi-rate connections handle everything from standard definition and 1080p to Ultra HD 2160p60. The SDI interface supports 270Mb, 1.5G, 3G, 6G, and 12G rates, providing maximum flexibility for any project resolution.
Thunderbolt 4 Connectivity
A single Thunderbolt 4 interface connects the device to your computer while providing bus power. This reduces cable clutter in both desktop and mobile setups. It is compatible with Apple Silicon Macs and Thunderbolt 4 or 5 PCs.
