Advanced Camera Control

This model supports camera control protocol conversion, enabling you to use Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras with professional SDI live production switchers. When connected to an ATEM switcher via SDI, the converter translates control signals to HDMI, giving you remote control over the camera’s color corrector, tally, and recording functions.

Broadcast Grade Engineering

Despite its miniaturized size, this converter features a rugged metal enclosure and professional 3G-SDI and HDMI connectors. It includes SDI re-clocking on the 3G-SDI output, which regenerates the video signal to reduce jitter. This ensures signal integrity over long cable distances, which is critical for large-scale live events.

Color Accurate Monitoring with 3D LUTs

The Micro Converter 3G includes 3D LUT support for color accurate monitoring. You can apply custom looks and gamma changes in real time, turning any consumer television or computer monitor into a calibrated broadcast display. You can even create your own LUTs using the free version of DaVinci Resolve.

Technical Versatility

Supporting a wide range of video standards, the converter handles NTSC, PAL, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p formats up to 1080p60. It also supports HDMI and SDI timecode conversion, ensuring your metadata remains intact across your entire workflow.
