Innovative Clean Switch Technology

Unlike traditional routers, the Videohub Mini 8x4 12G features a unique clean switch function assigned to the video outputs rather than the inputs. This allows users to route a specific source with a clean, stable transition to one output while maintaining a direct, low-latency feed to others. The built-in re-sync processors ensure seamless source changes, making it perfect for live monitoring and streaming applications.

Front Panel Control and Emergency Patching

The front panel is designed for efficiency, featuring dedicated buttons for fast cut-bus style switching. For added flexibility, it includes emergency 12G-SDI patch connections. The front panel input overrides the highest rear input when connected, allowing for quick adjustments without accessing the back of the rack. Additionally, a USB-C webcam output allows any connected SDI source to be recognized as a standard HD webcam for use with streaming software like Zoom, Skype, or OBS.

Signal Integrity and Remote Management

To ensure maximum reliability over long cable runs, every 12G-SDI input includes automatic SDI re-clocking. This regenerates the video signal, reducing jitter and preventing data errors. For larger installations, the Videohub Mini 8x4 12G can be controlled remotely via the free Videohub Software Control for Mac, Windows, and iPad, or through hardware panels like the Videohub Master Control Pro.
