Professional Lens Mount Support for RED KOMODO
The Bright Tangerine KipperTie Revolva/Adapta RF Support is engineered to provide a rock-solid connection between your lens mount adapter and the RED KOMODO. By creating a completely rigid mount, it eliminates unwelcome flex or play that can compromise optical performance during demanding shoots.
Rigid 4-Point Harness System
Securing your adapter is essential for maintaining accurate back focus and lens calibration. This support system utilizes a 4-point harness, anchoring the adapter to the left, right, and top rails. This design ensures the mount remains stable against forces in any axis, whether you are filming from a tracking vehicle at high speeds or operating in fast-paced handheld situations.
Versatile and Lightweight
Unlike traditional support systems, the LeftField Adapter Support does not require a baseplate. This makes it the perfect solution for minimal camera builds, including gimbal, aerial, and drone work. For larger lenses, we recommend using additional rod-based lens support to further reduce stress on the mount.
Compatibility and Requirements
This support is specifically designed for use with KipperTie Revolva and Adapta RF adapters. Please note that it requires the LeftField Side Plate Kit (B4002.0015) and either the Top Rail (B4002.1007) or Run/Stop Top Rail (B4002.1027) for installation. This product is not compatible with the RED KOMODO-X due to its locking RF mount.

Important Installation Note: The RED KOMODO RF mount is a sprung system. Incorrect installation of the support can result in the adapter being tilted, leading to focus issues. Ensure the support is aligned correctly to maintain optical integrity.
