Ultra-Lightweight Matte Box for Gimbal & Steadicam
The Bright Tangerine Misfit Atom 15mm LWS Kit is engineered to redefine the lightweight matte box. Specifically conceived for gimbal and Steadicam operators, the Misfit Atom core provides an incredibly strong yet featherweight solution for professional cinematography.
Advanced Flare Control and Filter Versatility
The frame itself weighs just 98 grams, increasing to approximately 195 grams with the shade attached. Despite its compact size, it can hold up to two 4x5.65" or 4x4" filters, or a combination of both. The included A.R.F (Anti-Reflective) bracket allows you to tilt filters by 6 degrees, providing total flare control and eliminating unwanted reflections.
Wide-Angle Coverage and Precision Engineering
Designed for 114mm lenses, the Misfit Atom offers an impressive field of view, covering up to a 14mm Cooke with three PV stages. It is also compatible with RED Pro Zooms at 5K resolution. The 15mm LWS bracket provides the flexibility to mount the matte box onto lightweight studio rods for more complex rig configurations.
