The Bright Tangerine Side Plate Kit provides a robust foundation for your RED KOMODO or KOMODO-X setup. This kit includes both left and right side plates, precision-engineered to offer secure mounting points for handles, monitors, and rod mounts without adding unnecessary bulk.

Reinforced Helicoil & NATO Mounting

Versatility is at the core of this kit. Each plate features an integrated NATO rail with safety stops for quick accessory transitions. For traditional rigging, all 3/8" and 1/4" threaded points are reinforced with stainless-steel helicoils. These inserts prevent thread stripping and binding, ensuring your rig remains reliable through years of constant reconfiguration.

Lightweight CNC Construction

Machined from high-grade aluminum alloy billets, each plate weighs only 35 grams. The hard-anodized finish provides extra durability against the rigors of production. The low-profile design maintains the compact form factor of the KOMODO series while providing the rigidity needed for professional cinema builds.

Lens Adapter Support Integration

These side plates include dedicated mounting points for Bright Tangerine lens adapter supports. By securing the adapter directly to the camera cage, you eliminate flex and play in the lens mount. Note: Using these supports requires the addition of a LeftField Top Rail. Please note that adapter supports are not compatible with the KOMODO-X.
