The Cartoni C40S Dutch Head is a specialized accessory engineered to integrate a third axis into standard fluid heads. This allows for precise lateral movement, commonly known as the “Dutch angle,” providing cinematographers with the tools to create immersive and stylized visual effects with ease.

Advanced Fluid Drag and Counterbalance

Equipped with Cartoni’s award-winning fluid module, the C40S offers adjustable drag intensity from 0 to 7. This ensures exceptionally smooth side-tilt transitions regardless of the camera weight. The integrated counterbalance system features a 7-step spring mechanism, providing reliable support and control throughout the tilt range.

Universal Compatibility and Ergonomics

Designed for versatility, the C40S interfaces directly with any camera support head using a European-style quick release plate. Alternatively, it can be securely mounted via two 3/8″ screws. To ensure maximum operator comfort and precision, the unit includes a specialized telescopic orientable pan bar.
